(Javea) Xàbia International College is an international co-educational school situated in a pleasant area of Javea and very close to sea and all amenities.

The school offers a wide-ranging balanced curriculum, which follows the English National Curriculum, combined with the requirements of the Spanish educational system, leading to internationally recognized qualifications. English is the main language of instruction. All pupils are taught Spanish and students are also able to study German, as a native or second language, and French.

Fully qualified and experienced staff guide pupils through from nursery to IGCSE and then 'A2' levels. The college is a recognized centre for Cambridge and London (Edexcel) Examination Boards. Examination students are able to choose from a wide range of IGCSE and 'A2' level subjects.

Class sizes are controlled to maximise attention to individual needs. Specialist teachers are available to help those pupils with special educational needs. The school believes that study skills and pastoral care are integral to all age groups, being part of the friendly, caring but hardworking environment. There is a full complement of administrative and support staff, supporting the work of the qualified and experienced teaching staff.

The school?s facilities include two science laboratories, computer room, subject libraries and specialist areas for music, art and technology. Excellent sport centres nearby plus the school?s own resources, including a swimming pool, enable a wide range of sporting activities.

A bus service is provided from Denia and Altea. A wide-ranging Adult Study programme caters for over 200 adult students after college hours; this involves the college closely with the international community. A Summer School during July attracts children from all over Europe.
