Playa de San Antonio
If there is one place in the Balearics which has gained international fame for its concentration of bars and discos, this is Sant Antoni. In the summer its narrow streets, its sea promenade and the entire bay swarms with people and the activity does not cease until daybreak. In the very centre is the so-called West End, a group of streets with a greater concentration of bars and pubs per square metre than can be imagined. Playa de San Antonio

Morgans Bar
There are two walks which are culturally and scenically very interesting in Ibiza Town. One is a historical tour around the interior of the walled town, Dalt Vila, with its steep streets, often with steps. The typical architecture of the traditional Ibizan houses is certainly monumental; they still conserve the small balconies supported by savin trunks and ventanucos. Nearby Morgans is Marina de Botafoch with all amenties. Morgans Bar

Restaurant Madrigal
Together with fish, pork is the main ingredient of Ibizan cooking. Different rice dishes are prepared with them, the most typical being arròs de matances, a soggy casserole with pork and pigeon, accompanied with prebassos, as the mushrooms of the region are called, which is prepared during the pig slaughtering season or 'la matanza del cerdo'.

Restaurant Bambuddha Grove
Some of the fish dishes worth mentioning are borrida de rajada (ray with almonds), the traditional guisat de peix, a local variety of the Mediterranean stew and, pescado seco (dried fish) which the fishermen prepare with spices and leave to dry in the sun on their boats. But Ibiza?s contribution par excellence to the local cuisine is flaó, similar to a cheese cake, which in the past they used to prepare at Easter time. Restaurant Bambuddha Grove

Ibiza Town
If you want to, you can easily go from Ibiza town to the nearby Ses Salines Nature Reserve, a wetlands area where those who are keen on ornithology can observe a large number of migratory birds. Numerous companies offer boat trips and excursions from Ibiza Town, one activity which is strongly recommended as the opportunity to know the island from the sea is very attractive for many visitors.
