Vera is properous and has many shops, is rich in handicraft and the amount of tourists is constantly increasing because of its well-known cuisine. In the close surroundings of the biggest and most meaningful golf clubs on the Almeria coast is currently being built: ?Valle del Este? golf club. For sight-seeing the most important sights are : the church ?La Encarnacion? which was built in the XVI century in a modern style, and its alter painting is in baroque style. Vera is a small town that has in its Municipality a long stretch of beach (Vera playa) that is designated as a Naturist area. Here you will find Spain's first totally Naturist Hotel, situated on the beach.
Vast, clean beaches with all the services, large sandy seabeds and a well-cared for urban environment make this coastal enclave an important and attractive area for tourism. One of its beaches has become the Mecca of nudism in Spain; the only nudist hotel of this country is found here. Another one of Vera's treasures is to be able to boast about being a gastronomic paradise.
