A quiet town on the west coast of Tenerife, named for the unique sea cliffs that drop hundreds of feet to the beach below, which is only accessible by boat or experienced guides, the cliffs are also home to a rare species of Sea Eagles. Los Gigantes is an ideal location for families, there's a small black sandy beach ample places to eat and shops to browse in.
Puerto de Los Gigantes is a private marina dwarfed by the sheer cliffs of Los Gigantes. Developed as a marina for residents, the moorings are mostly occupied by small speed boats. There are 375 places in the marina and 20 per cent are kept for visitors. Water and electricity, which are laid on to each berth, are included in the docking fees as are the use of showers on the dock. There are substantial discounts negotiable for yachts staying longer periods.
