Las Gaviotas is a small, black sand beach. This beach is very popular with the young and the naturist A short walk away is Playa Chica, attached to an apartment complex. Both are served by the number 245 bus from Santa Cruz. The journey takes around 25 minutes.
Off the road joining San Andrés with Igueste de San Andrés and past the viewpoint of Los Organos which looks out over church-organ shaped rocks formed by the volcanic erruptions.
