Spanish Summer Camp Spanish Language School Costa de la Luz

The summer campus is situated in the province of Cadiz between Chiclana and Conil with an extension of 140 hectares (one and a half square kilometres). On one side it is 3 kilometres from the main road and on the other side 2 Kms from the beach of Novo Sancti Petri. The main building dates from 1940 and its original use was a farm/school and its use nowadays is exclusively as a boarding school.

The marquis' residence, currently called the "House of the Marquis" is surrounded by gardens and pine trees and an air of peace and silence. Up to 35 people may use the facilities for retreats and conferences and stay on the same premises where the marquis lived from 1909, having brought it from Jerez de la Frontera to Campano to spend the last of their days.

The school is comprised of the main building with several interior patios, computer room with internet and email facilities, a theatre, games room, the classrooms and the principal dormitories, canteen and kitchens, and 2 chapels. The principal activities of the school, take place in this building. There are also adjacent buildings which are used as dormitories.

Our surroundings are countryside and sun, only 5 minutes by car to the Sancti Petri urbanisation and beach, via private road.

We have an Olympic pool surrounded by garden, tennis courts, 5-a-side football and regular football pitches, bicycles, rock climbing wall, archery, basketball and open spaces for all types of activities to play and pass the evening. We have a puppet theatre as well as an animal farm.

Within the college we have many rooms and classrooms, a beautiful theatre with capacity for 450 people, games and study rooms, a church and distinctive bedrooms.

Laura Vicuña Bedrooms, rooms with 3,4,5 beds with bathrooms at the end of the corridor, all with independent keys.

Miguel Magote Bedrooms, rooms with 3,4,5 beds with bathrooms at the end of the corridor, each one with a key for greater intimacy.

We have 2 dining rooms; the Marquis of Bertematti accommodating 110 diners and the Mama Margarita that can accommodate a further 300.

Various Houses, for example:

HOUSE OF THE MONKS: With a capacity for 24 people in double and triple rooms, each with a bathroom en-suite. Meeting rooms with a TV, kitchen-dining room and a 500m2 garden.

HOUSE OF THE MARQUIS: With room for 32 people, in single and double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Conference rooms, dining room, TV room and various gardens surrounding the house

CAMPOBOSCO: This place is destined for camping with shower and lounge area, kitchen and dining area with wooden benches, all joined within the camping area. Various games, basketball courts and 5-a-side pitches as well as pine trees surround the site. Ideal for camping parties and evening events.
