Almuñecar International School (Granada) The education offered at A.I.S., is based on the National Curriculum, (England and Wales), but the Spanish language accounts for 20% of the curriculum time. As soon as they are able, foreign pupils are encouraged to join the Spanish and Spanish Social Studies classes, which Spanish students take as a matter of course. In the Primary School, the latest strategies in numeracy and literacy have been initiated. Secondary school students sit for GCSE at the end of Year 11, or earlier in a few cases.
