Canyelles Grosses beach, also called Playa L' Almadrava beach, is a beach of 450 m of length, of thin sand and waters of blue color turquoise. One finds 5 km from Roses, taking the highway that goes from the lighthouse up to top Falconera.

The fact of being protected from the mountains is one of the factors that determine his great success between the swimmers.

From 1992 it has obtained every year, except in 1993, the award of the Blue Flag of the European Community for the quality of his waters and services.
