Directed by Mr. Juan Lopez it has a width at the entrance of 90m and a depth of 4 to 5m, being from 1'2 to 4'5m inside the harbour with a muddy bottom anchorage. Roquetas de Mar is used as a fishery and leisure marina, and is close to sporting facilities, the sand dunes of Punta Sabinal, and the castle at Santa Ana. The marina is in close proximity to Club de Golf La Envia and Club de Golf Playa Serena both very popular in the area.
