The nearest airports to Vera are Almeria and Murcia. Almeria Airport is about 90 kms to the south of Vera whereas Murcia Airport is about 140 kms to the north.

Both airports offer a wide range of flights from many different low cost airlines and if you are flying from the UK then you should be able to get a decent price on your flights to Vera. The principle airlines to research are Easyjet, Bmibaby, Flybe, Mytravellite and Ryanair.

Taxis to and from either airport to Vera can be expensive and it is probably both cheaper and easier to simply rent a car at the airport.
