To get there you can fly into Malaga Airport, Gibraltar or Jerez.

Malaga Airport is around 85kms from Sotogrande and offers a huge amount of flights from the UK everyday. The drive to Sotogrande is an easy one along the virtually empty Toll Road and should take around 90 minutes.

Gibraltar is the closest Airport but offers only a limited amount of flights from the UK; you can fly to Gibraltar with either Monarch or British Airways from Gatwick and Manchester.

The transfer time to Sotogrande is around 20 minutes but you do need to go through border control between Gibraltar and Spain which is a little unpredictable.

Ryanair have just launched a new, daily service to Jerez from Stansted and although it is a bit further away the journey time from Jerez to Sotogrande should still be under 2 hours.

Sotogrande Marina is well established and is full of luxury yachts and motor boats. At the moment there is a large amount of development on the land surrounding the Marina with luxury flats with private moorings starting to dominate the area behind the marina.

Although much quieter and more refined than its neighbors of Marbella and Puerto Banus, Sotogrande Marina still has a wonderful atmosphere and some great cafes and restaurants from which you can sit and people watch.
