La Pineda is located just south of Sevilla. Designed by Rodrigo and Felipe Medina Benjumea, this course was founded in 1939. As one of the older golf courses, La Pineda is surrounded by thick mature vegetation.
In general the fairways are rather wide and reasonably flat. Approaching the greens is not always easy due to many strategically placed bunkers in front of the mostly small greens.
The fairways are wide and are separated by an abundance of vegetation and trees, notably palm and pine. The greens are fairly small and due to well positioned water hazards access to them can be tricky. The par four 1st hole is rated as one of most difficult with a dogleg.
La Pineda is a private course. Playing here is only possible on invitation by a member.
