Inaugurated in 1991, it was José María Olazábal who designed this flat and entertaining course, which is easy to walk around and has the added advantage of abundant vegetation.
It is a course of wide fairways winding through water hazards and numerous bunkers, and it is a course which is simple but at the same time challenging depending on how the player chooses to approach the game. The quality and mix of the grasses is superb. There is a practice course 260 metres long and a putting green with slopes similar to those of the greens on the course itself.
The lakes and the bushes are the main hazards and make the round quite tricky, but at the same time they provide a very pleasant microclimate to play in. The course is only 3 kilometres from Seville and the beautiful city offers a wide range of accommodation.
The course is mainly flat with wide fairways, large greens and four strategically placed lakes. It houses plenty of trees providing welcome protection against the heat. Especially the spectacular par three 3rd is beautiful with the green completely surrounded by water. Although the course is not so difficult to walk one should consider the sizzling heat in the summer.
The popular Real Club de Golf de Sevilla also offers plenty of other facilities like tennis and squash courts, swimming pools and a gymnasium.
