Just 11 km from Ferreries, is Cala Galdana the most beautiful pine fringed bays in Menorca. The name itself is a corruption of the Moorish Guad-al-ana (The Barranco of St Anne) after whom a nearby farm is named. It has probably had more picture taken of the beautiful pine clad cliffs, enclosing the large horseshoe shaped bay, than almost anywhere on Menorca.
