Santa Ponsa peacefully nestles in the hills, almost surrounded by sea, that lie between Ses Penyes Roges cove and Santa Ponsa cove which opens to the west. There is a calm residential feel to the quiet winding roads that descend to Santa Ponsa beach. The well kept beach itself has many facilities such as straw sunshades and loungers, showers and pedal boats.

Club Nautico Santa Ponsa services the renowned golfing establishment Golf Santa Ponsa I. It is not a particularly difficult course, because the greens are not very well protected and so are easy to get onto. It is a big course, with a smooth layout, and rather flat. It has large greens and is quite long. To date it is the most international course in Mallorca.
