The Club del Mar yacht club, situated in the Bay of Palma, the capital of Mallorca, offers a first class marina for any discerning yachtsman. The perfect location of this premier yacht club means you are within easy reach of the cosmopolitan city of Palma but also close by are the many beautiful 'calas'or bays renowned for their crystal clear waters.
The 23-year-old club is one of the two major yacht clubs in Palma itself. It has been given a great boost in the past year with the opening of the Porto Pi shopping centre, five minutes walk away, where it is possible to fully provision your yacht. Within the port itself there are many nautical service companies including a chandlery, brokerage companies, engine dealers and repair firms, a small supermarket and a newsagent. There is also an hotel with a pool and discotheque, plus a separate pool surrounded by an enclosed garden for children up to the age of 12. The popular bar within the club compound serves economical meals and drinks.
Palma de Mallorca is home to 3 wonderful courses on the island: Club de Golf Son Muntaner with modern design and large greens, its sister course Club de Golf Son Vida surrounded by rich Mediterranean flora, and Mallorca's newest course Club de Golf Son Termens.
