The Lewis School of Languages was founded in Barcelona in 1985. It is situated a 15 minute metro ride from the city centre, near the university and the beautiful residential area of Pedralbes. We offer classes for children and adults and we have 18 years of experience in preparing students for the recognized exams in each language, as well as running general language classes.

The Lewis School offers adult language classes and junior language classes for children aged between 7 and 17. We teach the following languages: English, French, Italian, German, Catalan and Spanish for foreigners and if you would like to study a different language, this is possible on a one-to-one or private class basis.

The Lewis School of Languages has many years of expericence preparing students for official exams in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The courses combine general language learning with special sessions on exam preparation and techniques. This gives our students greater confidence when they sit the exam and our success rate over the years has been excellent. Exam preparation courses are 2, 3 or 4 hours per week depending on the language.

Private classes are available all year and they are especially intended for people who want to learn at their own pace with a made-to-measure course. These classes are also suitable for students whose time is limited or who are unable to attend classes regularly due to work commitments.

The Business English course consists of 2 hours class per week in groups of maximum 8 students. This course is intended for people who don't have much spare time to study but who need to use English at their work place. The course has a highly practical focus and enables students to put what they have learned in class into practice at work immediately.
