An interior fishing port, located on the left side of the Guadalquivir river next to the National Park of Doñana. Its name originates from its situation, being the first region where navigation into the mouth of the river became "calm". It was originally established as a commercial port for export produce in the area, mainly sherry and wines destined for England. At the moment it is also used as a fishing port, and houses a fleet of some 100 boats that work in the Gulf of Cadiz. Puerto Bonanza is very close to Golf Dunas de Doñana designed in the natural surroundings of the national park.
