Jerez de la frontera, known as Jerez , is a city in the south-west of Spain which has a population of near 200,000 people. Jerez is in the province of Cádiz, on the Costa de la Luz, which has a huge number of beaches.

Jerez airport is the only passenger airport in the province of Cádiz and is situated 5 kilometres to the north of the city of Jerez on the N4 motorway. The Jerez airport is a very small airport but everything is clear marked and is not crowded.

Most of the flights in and out of Jerez airport are from the UK and Germany, there are some weekly flights to France and the Netherlands. There are at least two daily flights to and from Madrid and Barcelona.
