The Nautical Club of Ibiza is an institution with more than 60 years of history. The largest marina within the Pitiüses is at Santa Eulalia.

There are also sailing schools which organize courses for adults and children in Ibiza, and the island also plays host to a number of other competitions including the "Ruta de la Sal", -a prestigious race between Barcelona and Ibiza where every year a vast multitude of participating craft gather- and the International Sailing Week Cruises take place in Sant Antoni during the last week of October.

Numerous private companies offer boat trips and excursions, one activity which is strongly recommended as the opportunity to know the island from the sea is very attractive for many visitors. For golf fans, at present, Ibiza has Club de Golf Roca Llisa and Club de Golf Ibiza.
