Ses Salines beach, also called Mitjorn beach is an area of beautiful landscape, offering a wide range of services, sports and leisure activities. It's very safe for swimming and the ideal beach for beginning windsurfers. Ses Salines is recommended for young people or families looking for sport facilities and amenities.
This beach is natural, white, very fine sand. On its eastern part there are some secluded rocky areas and natural pools.
From the beach, there is beautiful view of the small islands of es Freus and the island of Formentera. It is very close to the salt mine ponds (Salinas); an area declared National Park, of renowned beauty for its scenery, with numerous wild and water birds. Take a walk around the many trails among pine trees and conifer flora typical of the island. In National Parks, visitors must comply with preservation rules and follow instructions from the Parks guards.
