Sardina del Mar beach is located next to a very picturesque fishing village. It has nice beaches of boulders and fine golden sand.
Surrounding the Island, already in his North slope, one finds the municipality of Gáldar. To the exit of the same one there is the locality of Sardine of the North, a place frequently visited by the divers of Great Canary, especially for the serviceability that supposes being equipped in his small fishing wharf.
The great attraction of this point is the night dip in the precincts of the dike. The fund is constituted by a rocky zone that is located close to the coast and that gets down approximately 16-17 meters up to giving place to enormous rocks and wide cornices.
