Golf Nuevo Portil is located near the beach not far from the city of Huelva and 6 kilometers from the touristic Punta Umbría. The area around Golf Nuevo Portil is of exceptional beauty with nature reserves, coastal lagoons and dunas.
This new Andalusian course designed by Alfonso Viador features wide fairways, gentle greens and several doglegs.
The slopes on the course are gentle so it is pleasant to walk round.The course covers 46 hectares and is 6,040 metres long.
From the fairways there is a splendid view of the Huelva coastline, with its enormous beaches, dunes, the sea and a wood full of pines and ancient juniper trees. Situated some 90 km from Seville, the club is surrounded by 11,000 hectares of municipal pine forest and overlooks the Natural Park of Marismas del Piedras and Flecha de El Rompido.
The golf course was inaugurated in November 2001. Golf Nuevo Portil is well playable. Smooth slopes and many dog-legs are the main characteristics.
