If you just want to relax and soak up the sun there are endless stretches of golden beach just waiting, bathing is safe but take note of the safety warning flags. On Fuerteventura there is a small marina with haul-out and some repair facilities as well as fuel at El Castillo and limited repair facilities in the capital Puerto Rosario.

An attractive harbour resort set in a horse shoe shaped bay. This delightful area is perfect for families, it has a man made beach that gently shelves into the ocean with safe bathing, but take note of the safety warning flags. Every Saturday night there's a market which is lively and lots of fun.
