Hi..your bamboo ceiling is cane, very much used in spain..it is easy to fix..the best thing to do is find a local over 30 years old and ask him how..I am sure you will find them only too willing to help...

We have a farmhouse in Andalucia that needs a total roof repair -no problem there, but we would like to retain the original bamboo ceilings in the interior. Does anyone know how to go about this, or where to get a book on the subject or where to get replacement bamboo for the restoration - any tips would be most welcome
