Having just visited Spain for the 1st time (Costa Del Sol) & being very favourably impressed, I realise that there is nothing much in UK, apart from the odd sunny day in May with spring foilage, that is worth staying in the here for. I can't bear the thought of being stuck in UK in winter when I retire. All those grey cold days. I'll have to stomach it meantime though... but only for as long as I have to work !
Our English friends and family of course, but nothing else. We could not afford the lifestyle we have here back in the U.K.....in fact this lifestyle doesn´t exisrt in the U.K.!!!!!
I Know I don't miss the weather !
