Marinas in Formentera Marinas

Formentera lies to the south of Ibiza. It is the smallest of the Illes Balears, and its ports are only twelve nautical miles from the port of Ibiza to which it is linked by ferries and fast launches, or alternatively sailing across yourself.

Tranquillity should not be contagious. But in any case, there is no doubt that, in spite of being neighbouring islands, the nightlife of Ibiza is totally unlike that of Formentera. In the latter, it is peaceful and quiet. Its nights are the gentle continuation of its placid days.

Puerto de la Sabina and the Els Pujols area are the centres of most of the nightlife in Formentera which revolves more around a leisurely dinner, a drink and conversation than the exhilarating ebullience of its sister Pitiüsa Island when the sun sets. This does not mean that the nightlife in Formentera is not enjoyable. It also has places where you can linger over a drink until the small hours.

But there is no doubt that it is a restful Island where quiet relaxation prevails over the hustle and bustle and more strident pleasures, by day and by night.
