The University Miguel Hernández of Elche is a public university that is run by Jesús Rodriguez Marín. He aims to continue the history of the university and continue its drive to attain the best education possible for its students.

The university is very clear in that it has a determined intention of offering teaching and investigation of the highest quality. Their goals are very specific to the university itself and are linked to its spirit: it wants to to form entirely rounded students that will be able to learn from all kinds of different thinkings. As well as to try to collaborate in the solution of the problems that affect our society.

The university prides itself in being able to form good professionals but on top of this that it helps and contributes significantly to the social, economic and cultural development of Spain.

UMH is based in four University Campuses that together offer a range of 31 degrees, and it develops an integral part in the education of the students from a university position to the needs and to the idiosyncrasys of the business environment.

The University Miguel Hernández of Elche does not offer any accomodation of sorts. They have no halls of residences that you can say are theirs. Sharing a flat with other foreign or Spanish students is the most common option. The lease varies typically between 90.15 and 150.25 eurosa month, depending on the situation of the flat and its size. Flats are usually furnished but do not have sheets or towels, so you will need to bring your own or buy it when u get out to Spain.

Hostels are another way of living in Elche but they can become expenxive in the long term. They will be great for staying in whilst finding accomodation eslewhere. Addresses can be obtained at the International Relations Office.
