El Carabassi Beach is virgin beach at the bottom of the hills with the same name, where saltmarshes and humid areas Els Bassals and Clot de Galvany are located. Marshes, short vegetation and typical fauna in saltmarshes surround it making it a quiet area where nudism can also be practised. It is considered ecological protected area. The beaches of the north of Elx represent themselves as big spaces of fine golden sand in which you can enjoy the calm waters. El Carabassi Beach has the Blue Flag. Equipment and services: this beach has special handicapped persons facilities, lifeguards, beach umbrellas and hammocks, parking, walloways, cleaning service and waste bins.
