The School provides a bilingual education for children of 3 to 16 years old, the languages of instruction being English and Spanish.

El Limonar International School has four sites, two in Murcia which cater for all year groups, one in La Manga near Cartagena (Murcia) and one in Torrevieja (Alicante) which cater for pupils aged 3 to 8. The four centres follow the same programme of studies supervised by the main site in Murcia.

ELIS, is set in 63.000m2 of grounds with 9 tennis courts, a 25m swimming pool, multipurpose sports fields, a gymnasium, riding stables and playground. The School buildings have been purpose built as part of an extensive programme since 1994 and the most recent Secondary block was opened in June 2001. All three classroom blocks are hexagonal shaped and connected by a covered walkway.

The Primary buildings, named Galileo and Newton, contain up to 12 classrooms each, activity rooms, Primary library and IT room, audio-visual room, staff rooms, meeting rooms and offices.

The Secondary building, named Seneca, houses 16 classrooms, 2 fully equipped Science laboratories, the Secondary IT room, offices, staff rooms, meeting rooms and the library.

ELIS also boasts a magnificent open air amphitheatre.

El Limonar organises many events throughout the school year which complement and enhance the Curriculum and enrich the pupils? experiences.
