The Costa Tropical has an attractive coastline with small beaches and rugged rocks. The Costa Tropical of Granada province is particularly picturesque, less busy, and easier to get away from the crowds. Inland are the Alpujarras well known as walking area, Sierra Nevada where it is possible to ski all year round, and the city of Granada with the famous Alhambra. The city of Granada is situated in the eastern part of Andalusia, in the mountains of southern Spain.
