Golf on the Costa Dorada Golf

Valls preserves an interesting historic centre, but perhaps what has made the town more popular are the 'castells', human towers of great beauty and difficulty. Outstanding among the buildings of interest in Valls are the chapel of El Roser, with glazed tiles from the 17th century which commemorate the battle of Lepanto. Valls is in close proximity to Tarragona and Vilanova. Worth visiting are Club de Golf Costa Dorada, a championship course, and Club de Golf Reus Aiguesverds with its creative designs and water hazards.

One of the biggest attractions of Salou is of course the mega theme park, Port Aventura, which is right alongside the resort. The world-renowned Dragon Khan rollercoaster, with no less than eight terrifying loop-the-loops, dominates the skyline for miles around. Salou is ideally placed for exploring the golf in the Golden Coast region. Its resident club Club de Golf Bonmont has wonderful views over the Mediterranean and a spectacular mountain backdrops. Further down the coast is Panoramica Golf & Country Club built in an olive grove.
