The Costa del Sol is serviced by Malaga airport which is roughly central and within 1 hour drive to all parts of the Costa del Sol. Malaga Airport on the Costa del Sol
One of the most important airports in Spain with over 10 Million passengers per year. Schedule, charter and budget flights from most Spanish and European cities. Malaga Airport is located about 6 kilometers West of the city of Malaga. There exists a train service with the station outside the international terminal, also a coach service from Málaga Airport to Marbella bus station.

Gibraltar Airport on the Costa del Sol
Gibraltar airport is located about 2 Kilometres from Gibraltar town centre, adjacent to the frontier of Spain. There is a regular bus service to the town and taxis are available. If visiting Spain, it's easier to walk across the frontier a few hundred yards away and collect your hire car in La Linea. Friend and relatives meeting passengers are advised to park in La Linea.
