Costa Almeria has possibly the best climate of all the costas. Costa Almeria was not developed at the same time as the better known costas and as such it is possible to find quiet beaches and small resorts. Costa Almeria is serviced by Almeria airport which is within 1 hours drive to all parts of the coasta. The north of the Costa Almeria is also serviced by Alicante, approximately 2 hours drive to the north. The southern end of Costa Almeria is also serviced by Malaga airport which is approximately 2 - 2.5 hours drive to the west.
