The idea of the courses in Almuñecar is to provide both an enjoyable holiday and a rich environment for learning Spanish. When you finish your course you will be relaxed, tanned, fit and your level of Spanish should have taken a giant leap forward plus you will have made many new friends from all over the world.

In the morning we learn Spanish in a classroom setting. Afterwards you have many options for leisure and having a good time. In the afternoon we organise cultural activities and excursions. There is lively nigtlife in Almueñcar with plenty of oportunity for meeting Spanish people.

Although we take the Spanish classes seriously there is an informal holiday atmosphere, it is well known that the capacity for learning languages is greatly enhanced if you feel relaxed and comfortable.

All course materials are provided free and the maximum class size is 9. But as you can see in the photos many classes have less than 9 people.

The school in Almuñecar is open from 2nd July until mid September. You can combine a course in Granada and Almuñecar if your wish. If you want to do 3 weeks in Granada and and 2 weeks in Almuñecar that is fine.
 
The school is a in a converted house and it is in the centre of Almuñecar not far from the beach. As well as being qualified in Spanish and properly trained the teachers employed on the Almuñecar course are young and they get involved with all the activities.

So you will probably get to know your teachers very well not only in the classrom but also, playing volley-ball on the beach, going for tapas in the terrace bars or even dancing in the discotheque. etc.
 
The students come from all over the world. Most people speak some English but you should avoid speaking English if at all possible. The average age is probably around 25 but we often have older students in their 40's and 50's.
