Located an half-hour drive from Sevilla to the west near-by Aznalcázar, Las Minas opened in 1989 as La Rocina Golf & Country Club.
Designed by Antonio García Garrido and lying on gently undulating ground, with numerous olive trees and orange trees, the course is reasonable for all players, and will test the accuracy of the more daring players. There are long and difficult par-5s, wide and undulating greens with a modern design and four strategically placed lakes to add colour and fun to the game. A great place for a relaxing and stress-free round of golf. The tees, with their long platforms, make it possible to vary the difficulty of the round, making it suitable for both beginners and expert players.
The course is sited in a light undulated area containing several water hazards. Especially olive and orange trees form the vegetation. Main feature is the raised greens, which are strategically guarded by bunkers and water hazards, making the approach shots delicate.
Prepare yourself for the extreme heat in the summer if you plan to visit this course. As an original alternative to playing golf a shooting gallery is available for visitors.
