It forms a very big arc of fine sands, bordered by extensive pine woods. This famous beach offers two different sections: the first of them is urbanized, and has all kind of services. It is bordered by a seaside promenade, and the second section is in a natural state. Actually, this beach is considerated one of the best beaches in the Andalusian Coast, because of its fines sands and the dunes and thickets which mark all the line of the coast. Next to the Urbanization "Novo Sancti Petri", which is placed in its natural section, it is the Public Park "La Barrosa", a very extensive and well cared pine wood, with all kind of services for its users. La Barrosa Beach has got the "Blue Flag" of the Clean European Seas since that award exists. Equipment and services: this beach has vigilance, parking, camping, red cross stand, local police, showers, wardrobes, public restrooms, public phones, promenade, cleaning service for the beach and waste bins.
