The Faculty of Experimental Sciences and Technology occupies this campus and the following studies are offered: Diploma in Engineering in Agricultural and Food Industries, Engineering in Farming-Stockbreeding, and Engineering in Horticulture, Fruit-growing and Gardening.
The university today is a very popular destination for both spanish and foreign students who wish to persue studies in spain. There are approximately 3000 students at the university and 310 teachers.
The Iradier Campus is comprised of 2 buildings that bring together the Faculties of Arts, Legal and Political Sciences, Economic and Social Sciences, the School of Architecture as well as the Rectorate and the University main offices.
The faculty of Health Sciences is situated on the "Interfase" floor at the Hospital General de Catalunya (South Access) in Sant Cugat del Vallès. Here are classes in courses such as Dentistry, Nursing and Physical Therapy.
UNICA welcomes international students and aims to help them enjoy their studies at the university. The International Relations staff at UNICA come together to forma group that aims to provide information, coordinate and manage any information that will be of use to the international student.
The International Relations staff/office have formed links with a lot of universities within Europe. They offer exchanges in all faculties so that students can have the choice of a range of subjects that they can choose from. The most common exchanges are for 10 months and are with France and Italy, but England is also important to the University.
The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has its own admissions procedures for students to be accepted in the programs offered. The candidates who meet the general University requirements may apply for any degree regardless of their pre-assigned university district or their secondary school especialisation. The application period starts in January.
