Cartagena Deportivo del Mar Menor Infanta Cristina Marina

Located on the shores of the Mar Menor in the municipality of Los Alcázares, 1.7 miles from Los Alcázares marina. The Infanta Cristina Centre belongs to the Autonomous Community of the Murcia Region. Specialised sports can be practised here throughout the year, as the centre is conditioned for long-term concentrations, e.g. by Olympic Teams or top athletes, and also for sports at lower levels, training, competitions, tuition for beginners and those with some experience, etc. Use of the facilities is restricted to federated clubs and professionals. Services are subject to prices fixed and approved by the Autonomous Community.

This area of coast is not only a paradise for lovers of water sports and the traditional sun-and-sea seeking holidaymakers; here the visitor can also find places of special ecological interest like the San Pedro del Pinatar salt lagoons - which border on the province of Alicante - or the Calblanque nature reserve, nestling on the Mediterranean coastline close to La Manga and the seaside town of Cabo de Palos.
