Gava is in the municipality of Baix Llobregat which runs from the Garraf Massif all the way down to the sea.
The main social hub and center of Gava is its large municipal park which attracts both young and old people who are looking for somewhere to meet, somewhere to chat or somewhere to play.
The Municipal Park is also home to some of the towns cultural events including the childrens sporting activities and a good selection of local theatrre and shows.
Gava is only around 23 kms from Barcelona and you can either head for the Ctiy by public transport or of course by car.
Barcelona Airport is easy to get to from a large number of countries and if you are flying from the UK you should have no problem finding a flight.
Another travel option for you to get to Gava is to fly into little known Reus Airport. You can find Reus Airport about 90 kms south of Gava and Ryanair offer daily flights from various places throughout the UK including Liverpool, Luton, Stansted and Dublin in Ireland. You may also be able to pick up a charter flight to Reus.
If you do fly into Reus the best thing to do is get a rental car for the transfer to Gava.
You can collect the car from the Airport car park and the drive to Gava should only take between 1 and 1½ hours.
