The actual town of Vera is a buzzing, prosperous town that has a good selection of shops. The shops range from the usual high street fashion shops through to a large number of local arts and crafts shops.

To get to Vera you need to fly into Almeria Airport which is around 90 kms away or Murcia Airportwhich is around 140 kms to the north.

Both of these airports are well serviced by flights from all over Spain and Europe and are well serviced by a number of low cost airlines.

The transfer times and distances to Vera from either Murcia or Almeria mean that it is easier and cheaper to hire a car then get expensive taxis each way.
