 Tenerife Airport is the largest and busiest airport on the Canary Islands.
It currently handles around 9,000,000 passengers each year with a large proportion of those coming from the UK and Germany. In fact there are more visitors from these two countries than from the Spanish Mainland.
Getting to Tenerife Airport from the UK and Europe is fairly easy and there are a number of airlines that have direct, scheduled flights to Tenerife throughout the year. They are British Airways, My Travel Lite and Monarch Airlines.
