 Tarragona, located on the Mediterranean coast in the northeast of Spain, is the most southern of the Catalan provinces. It is also the principle City for the Costa Dorada and has a sizable fishing and yachting port.
You can find Tarragona around 100 kms south of Barcelona 400 kms north of Alicante and 230 kms east of Madrid.
The main Airports to use for your flights to Tarragona are Reus Airport and of course the main International Airport at Barcelona. The drive from Barcelona Airport to Tarragona should take around 1½ hours and the drive from Reus Airport should only take you around 20 minutes.
Tarragona really consists of two areas, the fine coastline and the inland areas.
