Tarifa is on one of Spains least known costas, the Costa de la Luz. It is actually the most southern point in Spain and as you are driving along the coast road at Tarifa you almost feel that you can reach out and touch the coast of Africa.

Getting to and from Tarifa is not that easy although the roads are getting better. In order to fly to Tarifa you need to fly intoJerez Airport, Seville Airport or Malaga Airport.

Jerez is less than an hour away from Tarifa but has a limited number of direct flights from the UK. Malaga on the other hand is one of the busiest Airports in Spain and you can fly there from over 20 different UK airports. You will need to be prepared for a 2-2½ hour drive from Malaga down to Tarifa and our advice is to take the toll road whenever possible.

Really apart from driving down to Tarifa your transfer options are a little limited. You could catch a number of different buses or even get a taxi for the whole journey but the costs involved will far outweigh the costs of car hire.
