Seville Airport can be found around 10 kms to the north east of the City; it is off the main N1V motorway that runs between Seville, Cordoba and Madrid.

It's a fairly small airport and you can obtain direct flights from the UK to Seville through the following main airlines. Ryanair, British Airways and Iberia.

Ryanair fly to Seville Airport from Stansted in the UK, it's a regular flight with one flight per day everyday and two flights on a Saturday and Sunday.

If you are unable to find the flights to Seville Airport from an airport close to you then you could fly into Jerez Airport which is around an hour away, Malaga Airport which is two hours away r even Faro which is in Portugal but still less than two hours away.

Seville Airport also gives easy access to the Spanish Cities of Cordoba and Granada as well as some of the least known but best parts of Spain.

If you are only spending a few days in Seville and want to get out an explore Sherry country or fancy heading to the Costa del Sol for a night or two then all are within an easy drive.

The Costa del Sol can be reached in around 2 hours drive. I found that driving from Seville to the Costa del Sol was a great drive with great scenery if you went on the road via Jerez (N381), not towards Malaga.

You could also head for the little known Costa de La Luz which has some wonderful sandy beaches and great wind surfing and kite surfing schools and beaches.

The best way to get around and to transfer to and from Seville Airport is via your own hire car.
