Jerez de la Frontera is known throughout the world for its Sherry or sweet wines. The name "de la Frontera" derives from the frontier town it was in the time of the Moors and Christians.
Jerez has made distinctive wine for centuries and the one thing that makes the wine so sweet is the brilliant, strong sun that gives the grapes high sugar content.

Flamenco dancers, wonderful horses and Spanish music at its best are what also can be associated with Jerez.
