From the Airport you can drive on the main Autopista A7/E15 through to Marbella, this involves paying a toll of ¬3.20 in the off peak months of October-June and a toll of ¬5.15 during the peak summer months and Easter.
The other alternative drive is via the N340 Coast road. This is a more scenic route but not a drive for the faint hearted. During peak times the road can become congested and is quite dangerous.
Our advice is to take the Toll road if you are travelling to Marbella, Puerto Banus, San Pedro, Estepona, Sotogrande and Duquesa and take the N340 coast road if you are travelling to Fuengirola, La Cala, Elviria, Riviera or Calahonda.
