Located just after Torremolinos and in between Benalmadena and Marbella Fuengirola is only a 25 minute transfer from Malaga Airport.

There is plenty to do in Fuengirola itself including a great water park with high slides and tubes. There is also Fuengirola Zoo which is home to many different animals such as Tigers, Monkeys etc and during the peak summer seasons the Zoo stays open into the night so that you can enjoy a night visit!
Fuengirola has some of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol, the beaches are in front of an impressive promenade that runs the length of Fuengirola and ends at the ruins of an old sea front fortress at the western end of the town.
The Miramar shopping and cinema complex is now open for business and is a large European indoor shopping mall that has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and a 10 screen cinema that shows at least one blockbuster in English everyday.
If you go to the Miramar center by car then remember to park the car in the underground car park otherwise it will be too hot to get back into!
Finally if you like horseracing then head for the Hippodromo race course, the only horse racing course on the Costa del Sol. Unlike the UK the races have to take place when it is cool so the races are held from 9pm every Saturday in the summer and on Sunday afternoons in the winter.
