Named after the celebrated spanish navigator and buccaneer Juan Sebastian De Elcano, who was the first person to sail around the world, Centro Nautico Elcano has continued on his adventurous spirit. Today, a full 4 masted top-sail schooner with square-rigged foremast of the same name travels around the world as a Spanish Naval Training Ship and mascot of spanish history to the new world.
