More than 18 kilometres of beaches await you on the island of Ibiza, allowing you to choose the atmosphere, the winds and the activities you wish to practise in any of them. Together Formentera and Ibiza make up the Pitiusa Islands, which in Greek means "islands of pine trees". Formentera is located 11 miles south of Ibiza, separated from which by the islets and reefs of Es Freus, which marks the path between the two islands. As yet Formentera has no course of its own, but fortunately it is only 30 minutes away by ferry from nearby Ibiza, if you're planning on playing golf during your stay.
